Hamish is an enthusiastic and experienced Electrical Engineer, with a passion for HVDC and FACTs technology.

Hamish has contributed to all phases of HVDC projects, including: Specification development; Tendering; Design, implementation and testing of Control and Protection Systems; Commissioning on behalf of Suppliers and Receiving Customers; Operations and Maintenance; Upgrades and Half-Life refurbishment; Decommissioning.

His ambition is to apply all of this acquired knowledge to shape the future of HVDC systems and train / mentor the next generation of HVDC Engineers.
