His curiosity and drive “…to be useful and keep learning” have shaped a career spanning engineering, leadership, and consulting, within the energy industry. Having worked across various roles and technologies, he enjoys tackling challenges that require both technical expertise and collaborative problem-solving. He has spent much of his career in construction environments, leading projects of significant scale and complexity — echoing the fascination sparked in his early years by the ‘Megastructures’ documentaries. His tenures at both Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and PSC enabled Seamus to work with international teams, manage high-value projects, and navigate diverse cultural settings, all of which have strengthened his ability to drive meaningful outcomes.

His leadership approach, influenced by postgraduate studies in coaching and positive psychology, is grounded in fostering trust, clear communication, and a supportive working environment.
